Christmas Sessions

This year we have 2 types of of Christmas Sessions available, Christmas Window Sessions and Christmas Mini Sessions.

The Window sessions are where you pick from 10 digital backgrounds and your child(ren) are superimposed to the image giving you a realistic but fantasy type of image for your Christmas cards.

The Christmas Mini Sessions are with a real setup against a christmas backdrop where we take lots of lovely images of your child(ren) to choose from.

Christmas Window Sessions

These are available from October 18th – 29th.

October 18th – 22nd are specifically for kids that don’t attend school (hence the sessions during term-time).

October 25th-29th are specifically for kids in school (hence the sessions during half-term).

These sessions start at £25 for 1 setup and take up to 20 minutes max. You will receive 1 digital image to download and print, ready for Christmas cards. You need to bring will your own xmas PJs/outfit.

These sessions are suitable for 1-4 kids, the recomended age for each setup is indicated on each photo or see list below.

The booking fee is £10 and the rest is due to pay at the session.

Prices for each setup are:-

£25 for 1 setup plus 1 digital image
£45 for 2 setups and 2 digital images
£55 for 3 setups and 3 digital images
£65 for 4 setups and 4 digital images
£75 for 5 setups and 5 digital images

**5 setups per session maximum, if wanting more than 5 setups you will need to book 2 sessions.

Christmas Mini Sessions

As usual we have a different setup this year for the Christmas Mini sessions.

For this type of session, I’ll be using my new Christmas backdrop and probably a few props and snow to get lots of gorgeous Christmas images of your kids.

Each session will be up to 30 minutes long and there will be different packages available to suit everyone.

You will be able to view all your images in a private online gallery.

Suitable for up to 3 kids under 10, a booking fee of £10 will secure your slot 🙂

These will take place from Thursday 7th October until Sunday 10th October. 🎅🏻🤶🏻🎄

These will take place on Saturday 20th November.

Bump 2 Baby Session – Darcy

So this lovely mamma booked in a bump 2 baby session a few months before she was due to give birth so we could photograph her in her final stages of pregnancy as well as a newborn session. Usually between 32-36 weeks is the best time to do a Maternity session.

The session took place in the comfort of their own home in Barnsley, who wants to faff about travelling at that stage of your pregnancy?

Then when the lovely darcy was born, I went back to photograph her at just 18 days new <3

These sessions are best done with babies under 14 days old to get the best variety of photos but can be tried up to 8 weeks old.

Little Darcy was an absolute dream <3

Anna & Louise – The Wedding

So finally we come to the wedding of Anna & Louise.

These gorgeous ladies got married at the Town Hall in Barnsley then onto The Fairway (bluebell banqueting suite) for the reception, finishing with a Photobooth.

I’ll let the images speak for themselves, thank you for letting me be part of your big day, I had a blast 🙂

Andy & Rich ~ Wedding at Tankersley Manor

So the day finally came for Andy and Rich’s wedding at Tankersley Manor.

As we’d got to know each other pretty well since they had booked me, we had become more like friends, so I was really excited to shoot their day. Not only that but I also knew they were a little crazy like me 😉

I headed up to Tankersley Manor to meet up first with Andy who was with all the girls getting ready. Andy was ridiculously excited but also really nervous. I love Andy’s enthusiasm about everything; he’s such a positive guy to be around. There were tears, purple shoe laces, laughter and panic all going off at the same time. It was fabulous.

After spending some time with Andy, I headed up to near The Barn and found Rich who was already knee deep in sarcasm with his family. Rich shares my dry sense of humour so there is never a dull moment, we got lots of fabulous shots of Rich and his groomsmen, even a lovely teapot shot 😉

Next was the ceremony and what a lovely ceremony it was. Andy was quite emotional and Rich was there to calm him with his ever sensitive words of “You soppy b*****ks”. LOL

Nevertheless it was a lovely moment when they said “I do” and found that they could breathe again, I felt very involved in the moment and genuinely honoured to be there to shoot it.

They both looked very dapper in their matching waistcoats and even had the cake coordinated with it. Sparkle n shine did an amazing job on the room decor, it looked absolutely stunning.

We finished the night off with a very risqué Photobooth. (Ask them)

It was an amazing day from start to finish, I had the best time. Thank you Andy and Rich for allowing me to be part of your special day, love you guys!

Andy & Rich – Pre-Wedding Shoot

I met Andy at the Ardsley House Wedding fayre a while back, he then booked in for a wedding consult with himself and his partner Rich and we all hit it off from there.

Andy & Rich are a total blast to hang out with, we get on really well and share the same humour.

We decided to go to Dearne Valley Park in Barnsley for the Pre-Wedding shoot. The wedding is at Tankersley Manor so not far away.

I’d already gathered Rich wasn’t completely comfortable having his photo took (unlike diva Andy) so a Pre-wedding shoot really helps to alleviate that stress and show you what to expect on your wedding day. It’s like a practice photoshoot in the run up to your big day. So I thought it would help and make him feel more comfortable having his photo took.

We had such a laugh in the park, Andy clearly loved it 😉 and Rich was a total superstar.

They were up for anything and even ended up in the bush 😛

A fabulous session, cannot wait for the wedding!

The Wedding of Doris & Manfred

Doris contacted me with only a few weeks to go until the wedding. They were from Austria, currently working in Barnsley and had fallen in love with the place so decided to get married here in traditional Austrian attire.

They got married at Barnsley Town Hall and then went and had afternoon tea at The Tea Room in Cawthorne, had a walk around Cawthorne then nipped to Cannon Hall to explore the grounds.

Then for their evening reception, they had a small get together at Beatson house Restaurant in Cawthorne.

It was a lovely scenic day, I was only with them for about 3 hours but we had a total blast in that time. Doris and Manfred make such a lovely couple <3

The Wedding Of Michelle & Brent

Well the day of Michelle & Brent’s big day finally arrived so I headed down the road to Michelle’s mums house in Ardsley. Michelle’s parents, Janet & David were there helping Michelle with the bridal preparation. I haven’t seen Michelle’s parents in about 15 years so it was really nice seeing everyone again, including her brother Ben whom I’d always known as the little brother that got us into trouble when Michelle and I were young and still remember him being only about 2 feet tall 😉

Michelle & Brent had a lovely ceremony at Barnsley Town Hall, and can I just mention that I didn’t NOT cry… my contact lens had moved and I was sorting it out, honestly 😉

After the ceremony we headed up to Ardsley park were we did the bridal portraits, we couldn’t have asked for better weather.

Then for the reception we moved onto Ardsley WMC for cake throwing, the biggest buffet I had ever seen and the Photobooth were I got mooned at!

All in all, a lovely day 🙂

Meet gorgeous Robyn-Faith, although she didn’t actually have a name when I was photographing her – but she really suits such a gorgeous name. She was an absolute pleasure to work with, once she was asleep – there was no waking her!

She was 9 days old when we did her newborn session and weighed just 7lb 13oz when she was born. Such a cutie!
