Bit behind on posting this blog….oops but better late than never!
I met up with Sam at her house for bridal preparation on the morning of the wedding. Sam was perfectly calm considering she was getting the kids and bridesmaids ready as well as herself.
Sam is an absolute sweetie, she makes you instantly feel like you’ve known her a lifetime and is so welcoming. I stayed with Sam whilst she got ready and then went on to meet with Tom and his groomsmen. They were all game for a laugh so I got them to hold Tom in the air (classic bride style) whilst I took some shots.
The Ceremony was beautiful and afterwards we headed up to Drax for some lovely Bride and Groom portraits. Sam and Tom giggled the entire time as we played about in the kid’s area of Drax. After Sam’s sister Faye did her hysterical essay of a speech (there was actual pages…), Sam and Tom took to the dance floor for their first dance as man and wife to Eva Cassidy as the DJ played a slideshow of their own photo’s.
It was a fabulous day, the weather held out all day and I had great fun. It was the longest day but I have to say it went really quick too, as they say “Time flies when you’re having fun!” Big thanks to Sam and Tom for allowing me to be a part of your special day 🙂
